Testament – Titans of Creation – Review 4.8 / 5

Got forwarded an advanced copy of Testament’s new album due for release April 3rd 2020. ||Testament – Titans of Creation || Album review = 4.8 / 5.0 – ‘A fiercely brutal thrash album that will make sure to wreck your neck, right good and proper. Fantastic riffage, filled with the atomic clocks endless myriad of solid patterns accompanied by a vocal section that will send chills up your spine!’

Rivers of Nihil – Where Owls Know My Name – Album

It has been a very long time since a metal album has jumped out at me like this one. Being rather old school and even called an ‘ancient’ in the business my taste has been refined by years of ear battering music. Not many albums of today have enough energy to compete with blasts from the past but this one… did raise an eyebrow. It’s fucking good. You can tell allot of work went into this and the musicians are well talented. They are not ripping off other bands too which seems to be a thing now. What a fantastic album! Amazing guitar work, rock solid melodies and furious heavy ass drumming filled with brutal vocals that are fierce. This is real metal. Each track is carefully crafted to abuse your ears with perfection.

Take a listen!
